I'm asking for prayer for my sister Carrie. She's been noticing weird health things recently that, being a nurse, she recognized as probably being heart-related. She went to a doctor today, who diagnosed her with a heart murmur. She is scheduled to go in for more tests tomorrow afternoon, and then hopefully we'll know more.
In addition to prayers for physical health, please pray for Carrie's peace of mind. The doctor gave her a list of possibilities, and then told her that there were other things he thought it could be, but he didn't want to worry her. (as if that's not scary in and of itself) So please pray that Carrie will be able to trust in the Lord with all her heart, and to have peace in uncertainty. You can also pray for us her family. Several of us have a tendency toward worry, and few things give worry more feeding ground than possibilities.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We love you guys. It was so great to see Brian, but we did miss you and the kiddo.
